What you need to do:
1. Print and complete the expert research pages correctly. Use the web resources and textbook. The Plant expert will complete the Plant form and the Animal expert will complete the Animal form.
2. Print and complete the Plant and Animal Label and Color Sheet. Both partners will complete one of these, but you will work on this with your partner.
3. Print and complete the Plant Cell Foldable. Both partners will complete one of these, but you will work on this with your partner.
4. Print and complete the Animal Cell Foldable.. Both partners will complete one of these, but you will work on this with your partner.
5. After completing the 4 items above, take the quiz on plant and animal cells. Make sure you read the questions carefully before answering. You will complete the quiz independently. Click on the quiz link to start the quiz.
6. Ask your teacher for microscopes and slides. See if you and your partner can tell which is the plant cell and which is the animal cell.
7. Work with your partner to prepare a PowerPoint Presentation comparing and contrasting plant and animal cells. You will present the similarities and differences between the two cell types. You should use no more than three slides for this presentation.
8. You will work with your partner to create 3-Dimensional Cell models of both a plant cell and an animal cell. Please look under web resources for the link that gives ideas for the models. You may choose to use any of the suggestions given, or use your own idea. Please check the rubric to be sure you have included all the necessary parts to the project.
